A private, invitation-only gathering for friends of freedom.

This October, Young Voices will bring together a small group of guests for An Evening with the Dissident Project — a private reception marking the launch of the 2026–27 class of Dissidents.

The Dissident Project brings men and women who have lived under communism, socialism, and authoritarian rule into classrooms across America, where they share firsthand what happens when freedom is lost — and why free expression, free enterprise, individual liberty, and limited government are worth defending.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet members of the new Dissident class and hear directly from several of them about the experiences that shaped their lives: censorship, political repression, economic collapse, persecution, and the struggle to build a life in freedom.

The evening will coincide with our annual Dissident Project Summit, bringing the new class together for the first time as they prepare to take their stories to students across the country.

This is a private, invitation-only event.
