On Saturday, DC saw a new kind of event: Data After Dark
Jonas Du, Ed Tarnowski, and Casey Given, CEO of Young Voices, threw DC's first-ever pro-data-center party. Hundreds lined up at PubKey to join us in celebrating the power of American innovation. Dozens of journalists covered the event, along with celebrity guests and even a few protesters!
Data After Dark got the press buzzing. Over a dozen articles have already been published about the party, from Axios to Newsweek. And everyone seems to have a take online! Less than 48 hours later, coverage of the event has 23 MILLION media views and counting.
The media sees a generation of AI pessimists. Young Voices sees something different. Du puts it best: We're in a competition between people who fear the unknown and people who believe in the potential of the unknown.
On Saturday, we made a statement: The optimists are winning that competition.
Young Voices is grateful to everyone who made Data After Dark a success.
