Anthony Rispo

Anthony Rispo is a writer, independent researcher, and Columbia University psychology graduate currently pursuing an M.S. in Cognitive Neuroscience at the CUNY Graduate Center. His work focuses on social cognition and sociopolitical behavior, particularly the cognitive and developmental processes involved in belief formation, perspective-taking, identity, and social connection. He has contributed to research on narrative, social cognition, and autism, and founded Columbia’s Heterodox Academy Campus Community to promote viewpoint diversity and open inquiry. He regularly appears in broadcast media to discuss politics and public affairs and creates social media commentary informed by psychology, cognitive science, and political theory.
