Lexi Boccuzzi is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with minors in Classical Studies, and Legal Studies and History. She has been a political columnist and editor at the Daily Pennsylvanian, Penn’s independent student newspaper, for the last four years, and is currently the president of their College Republicans chapter. Lexi is originally from Stamford, Connecticut where she has been very involved in local and state politics. She spent the last few months working at the United States House of Representatives on the Education and Workforce Committee and the Republican Conference. She recently completed a summer honors fellowship with the American Enterprise Institute, where she focused on issues of decline in American civil societal institutions. Lexi is deeply passionate about educational freedom and First Amendment issues. She is also an avid country music listener and credits her love of Star Wars and her Italian-Catholic upbringing with her political views.
