Mike Fox is a legal fellow in the Cato Institute’s Project on Criminal Justice. His areas of interest include overcriminalization, police accountability, jury independence, and coercive plea bargaining.
Before joining Cato, he served as a Colorado Public Defender and worked for the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Government Operations & Border Management.
Fox received his BS in political science from Northeastern University and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School.
