Political Commentator
Young Voices
Ted is a recent Politics graduate from the University of Leeds. His preferred policy area is freedom, especially freedom of speech, which he believes is integral to a functioning, democratic society.
He is currently interning at the Institute of Economic Affairs, recently getting named head intern. He already possesses a great network within Westminster and Think Tanks such as the TPA, CPS and the ASI, thanks to his attendance of many events around Westminster and staff connections made during his internship.
Ted was recently named an honorary fellow at the Leeds Policy Institute, a title which will be formally announced at the start of the next academic year. This showcases his dedication to politics and contributing political takes whenever he sees fit.
In his spare time, Ted enjoys fitness, reading and maintaining his weekly Substack which he uses to contribute his opinion to the issues of the day.
Once graduated, Ted hopes to pursue a career in Westminster, applying to opportunities at the CPS and ASI. After working at the IEA and meeting young talent such as Reem Ibrahim, Ted aspires to enter the world of political commentary, hopefully working his way up to appearances on major news outlets.
