Thomas Irwin

Thomas is a writer, social entrepreneur, and non-profit staff living on the Eastside of Los Angeles. He has spent the better part of the last seven years experimenting with various strategies for economic development and social entrepreneurship. This work has included everything from consulting entrepreneurs, starting social enterprises, running vaccination clinics, and advocating for more housing in his neighborhood. Thomas has long been an eclectic and unconventional thinker who has tried to synthesize his Evangelical faith, his work doing economic development in underserved communities, and his classical liberal beliefs. Writing has allowed him to explore these intellectual tensions more wholly.
